I will be offering NRA Basic Pistol Courses (Basic Pistol - 10 hrs and FIRST STEPS - 4 hrs).

Basic Pistol is a complete introduction to pistols including revolver and semi-automatic.

FIRST Steps is a basic introduction using only one type of pistol (usually the student's pistol).

The courses are designed to provide basic introduction for proper care and use of pistols.

I am also certified to offer the Metallic Cartridge Reloading Course. The purpose of the course is to provide the beginning reloader the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude to safely reload metallic cartridges. The course is approximately 9 hours.

If you are an Illinois resident, you should refer to the Illinois State Police website for information about lawfully owning and transporting firearms and ammunition.

I provide Illinois FOID card Application / Renewal Service. Total Cost to you = $18.00

How it Works:

1) I provide the FOID application and take your required photo.

2) You complete the application.

3) I handle film developing and mail the application.

** My fee already includes your $10.00 application to the Illinois State Police.

I think you'll find my fee reasonable since it costs about $7.00 to get passport photos at local businesses. (Also please note that Passport photos might not be the required size for the FOID application.)

LEARN ABOUT FIREARMS LAWS:

Illinois does not allow concealed or open carry of firearms. Wisconsin is currently the only other state that does not have a provision for concealed carry, although Wisconsin's Attorney General recently issued an opinion that open carry is not prohibited by state law.

Although all the other states have provisions for concealed or open carry, there are municipalities within some of those states which have bans.
